A sharp fresh green aromatic that perfectly captures the mood of rubbing fresh tomato leaves together in a summer greenhouse.

MATE TEA

Mate, with its herbal and green essence, enhances fougère and floral blends. It's phenolic undertones complement warm tobacco notes, creating a smoky, herbaceous scent reminiscent of green tea.

MAGNOLIA

A luminous fragrance note, blending creamy florals with citrusy brightness, evoking serene gardens and exuding purity, grace, and timeless elegance.

A dewy shower of rain set against a story of the jade stone. Enchanting with opening green notes of tomato leaf and tea to recall the grass and the jade stone at the centre of the masterpiece ‘Dream of the Red Chamber’ by Cao Xueqin.

Citrus notes sparkle with cardamom, tranquil magnolia and mate tea take us on a journey of discovery. Lavender and white musk evoke purity. The red shadows of autumn are represented by red fruits. Indian tuberose brings a creamy elegance and depth to contrast the bright opening.

Inspired by the world of literature

Celadon is inspired by a page from the 'Dream of the Red Chamber'. The page describes a key moment from the book where a poetry club has formed by a group of women in the novel and the page is collection of all their input to a group poem, describing the crab blossom. Overloaded with descriptive feeling, the page speaks of a “Shower of rain’, ‘the purity of the snow’, the ‘sun’s rays and mossy pots’ and ‘the beauteous jade’. This world of waxy green grass and clear white purity informed Karine’s sparkling interpretation in Celadon. She wanted to use notes that felt unique to the Chinese origin of the novel, so the cardamom, magnolia, the smoked tea, and mate take us to China.
