One of the most expensive fragrance ingredients in the world, this is made from the iris bulb, which has to be dried for 4 to 5 years, turned constantly and carefully protected. The oil that is distilled gives a soft, powdery suede-leather floral note.

Inspired by the Graham Greene novel “Brighton Rock”published in 1938, this scent was always set to be a star. Set in Brighton in the 1930s, the heroine of the tale is Ida Arnold, a singer who wears violets when she performs and can be seen as quite a feminist role model for the time. The heavily orris-based perfume was created to bring modernity to the classic floral notes of Iris and Violet and finds a retro 30's seaside glamour for the 21st century Customer.
